The Mission Reality Story...

Mission Reality… started when my best friend, Tammy Lane, decided to take a team of eight people to a third world country to feed hungry people and give medical aid to Lepers. You see, she had wanted to do this for years, so she decided it was time to make it a reality. A year and a half earlier; she started her own production company bringing me on board to help, and then later, hiring Christopher Inman.

Once Tammy shared her heart with Christopher and I about the trip, and that she felt it was time to go, the three of us began the process of making the trip a reality, and in June of 2007, Tammy, Christopher and the rest of the team took off for Africa and India, leaving me to run the company and take care of any needs that might come up on this end, and come up they did! For thirty days they traveled from place to place feeding and helping people. It was amazing, incredible, heartbreaking and wonderful all rolled into one. The amazing experiences and footage the team came back with…wow! Something began to awaken in us….

So now what? It’s the end of 2008, and after traveling around the globe to Africa and India, the missions in all of our hearts have exploded, and there’s much more we want to do for hurting people. So again…now what? After all of this, we believe that everyone has a mission they would like to make a reality, a mission that comes from the heart that loves people, no matter what color skin they have or where they live in this great big world.

So …we have decided to do something about it! We have a new team of twelve and we have decided to make our mission a reality, and that mission today…is to bring awareness to Mission Reality and all it stands for. You see, it’s not about us, it’s about others. It’s about meeting the needs of others in a loving way, even if that need is as simple as taking the time to stop and listen when someone is down, or maybe just to smile at someone who is having a rough day.

So… I’d like to introduce you to…
MISSION REALITY AMERICA!!!

Our mission is to start a movement …where YOU join US, as we boldly and passionately make all of our missions …Reality!
We will start in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We will show up who – knows – where doing random acts of kindness for people. We will start with the 12 Days of Christmas… honoring people that deserve a great big pat on the back.

Look out; you never know where we’re going to show up! You may be the next person on our list ….
